HOW IT WORKS
FundRaising Overview Your group passes out flyers with your unique efG:FundRaising web address / URL (we suggest a campaign of three weeks, passing out your flyers daily), and then people with an interest come visit your web page here at efG:FundRaising, and click through to one of the products offered. When a sale is made, your group is notified immediately of the sale via email and the info is also posted on your back end admin sites. After some time frame, your group is sent a commission check. If your group has a web site, you can also embed links and a graphic to drive traffic to your web page at efG:FundRaising.
First Step Your Group would sign up with Cognigen (click now to sign up) and LunarPages (click now to sign up), and also fill out an informational form from us. All of the signups and forms are electronic and should be filled out by one of the officers of your group. The day after we receive notices of your signup, we generate your web site here (Click here to view a sample) along with the MS Word Documents you will need to print and copy (click here to download a sample)
Second Step After you have signed up, we generate your Main Page here and your MS Word Documents. We usually have your web page up within 24 hours of your group signing up with us. You will receive an email from efG:FundRaising, Cognigen, and LunarPages.
Third Step Your group prints out and copies your FundRaising flyers, then distribute the flyers around your area. The content in the flyer drives potential cusomters to your web page. Once your web page is viewed and a customer has an interest, he or she clicks through your page to one of the Cognigen sites or the LunarPages Site. When a sale is made, that web traffic and sale is attributed to YOUR group, and the sale is tallied into each Company's tracking system. You will receive an email about each sale made. You can also view all sales and accrued commissions in each Company's tracking system.
Fourth Step After some time has passed - your group will receive a commission check for the sales that you generated. Commissions fall into 2 categories: One-Time and Residual. One-Time Commissions are paid ONCE for each sale that you make - i.e., if you made a web hosting sale, you receive a check ONCE for that sale, and there are not any other payouts for that ONE sale. Residual Commissions are paid based on usage and are paid monthly (see below)

What is a Residual Sale ? Simply put, a residual sale is a type of sale where you sell it once, and you receive a monthly commission check on usage for as long as the buyer uses the service. For example, if you sell an unlimited long distance plan @29.95 / month, you receive between 6 % to 12 % of that monthly fee for as long as that buyer keeps the service; i.e. @7 %, your commission is $2.09 So for any telecom usage, your group receives a monthly commission check. If you meet your target over 3 weeks of $5000.00 in Telephone Service Sales, then your monthly residual commission is computed as 5000.00 X 0.07 => 350.00 per month. Historically, there is always a churn in telecom services as people move, or decide to change their phone service. If you have a fundraiser 3 times a year, say once in summer time, once in the fall semester, once in the spring semester, you can multiply your revenue 3 times. The Good News is that everyone needs telephone service, and almost everyone wants a cell phone, and almost everyone wants a DSL line, and of course MOST small businesses want a great web hosting company. You have great products to sell, with two great companies to rep for.

Vendor Payout Timelines
Cognigen pays 30 to 60 days after the month in which the sale was made. LunarPages pays the next month after the sale occurred, with a cut off date of the 21st of each month.
